Last day!


In the English project we were working some quizes and some parts of the british culture.
- Scotland
- Soap Opera
- Supermarkets
- The law
- Horror stories
- Maritime history
- Transport in London
- Computers
- Healthcare
Some parts were very boring, but there were some interesting parts too.
But the best parts were Scotland and Transport in London. I like that because they were interesting. I not wise nothing about this parts of the british culture, and this classes were very good.
I think that the topics will be more interesting, because they are a little bit boring.

Unit 3: Supermarkets


The five biggest supermarkets in Britain are Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda. Tesco is the biggest supermarket, it's got nearly 2000 shops in Britain. In the largest supermarkets you can buy just about anythink (food and drink, sports equipment, bicycles, books, toys and games, CD's and DVD's...

You can shopping from home. A lot of pe0ple now use online shopping.

But a lot of shops are closing because the supermarkets can sell the same things cheaper.

Many supermarkets are open 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

Unit 2: Soap Opera


EastEnders, Coronation street and Emmerdale are the most popular British soap operas.
These are popular dramas about the lives of ordinary people. There are usually three to five episodes each week. Many people are addicted to soap operas There are a lot of magazines and web sites and these contain previews of the next week's shows and information about the actors and stories from future episodes.

Unit 1: Scotland


There are four main regions in Britain: England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.
Scotland is in the north of Britain, and it's famous for its lakes.
The majority of Scottish people live in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Scotland has got his own parliament, a different education system and different laws.
The kilt, the bagpipes and the Highland Games are part of Scottish tradition.
The Scotch whisky, the Loch Ness (people say there's a monster there) and the castles are also very important in Scotland.
